Meet the Team
Jean Shaw created the concept for A+ Creative Fun & Fitness Workshop and Entertainment Hire and is involved in its continued development.
Gabrielle Jackson and Joanne Callaghan are the proud owners of A+.
Gabrielle and Jo are dedicated to its development which allows them to continually have fun and be creative.
Erin is the dance and party coach for A+. She has been dancing for as long as she can remember. Erin has lead the school dance club for all year groups and in her final year achieved an A Grade in Higher Dance Studies.
Erin has both the Level 1&2 Dance Leadership Qualifications from the Scottish Youth Dance Company – Y dance - and through them, she performed at the 2015 World Gymnastics Championships at the SSE Hydro.
In 2015, she also received the Glasgow Community Champion Young Award for outstanding contribution to Dance in her y community: and in 2016 she received the Spirit of Leadership Award from Y dance.
This year, with her own Dance and Cheer Team Phoenix Flames, she is not only competing on a national level but also travelling to America to compete in the World Championships for Hip Hop.
Lauren Training levels NQ, HNC, HND she is the singing coach for the A+ Workshop
Lauren has been involved and taken part in many drama and musical productions.
She has also taken & participated in several MASTERCLASSES which included methods and varies levels of singing – dancing to build on her personal & professional development.
Dance experience- Jazz, ballet, commercial
Lauren loves to organize her own gigs and sings at weddings and other events.
Daisy is a singer, dancer and actor and has been dancing and performing for 15yrs. She is the Drama Coach for A+ from the age of 3 she has taken part in dance shows. She was 8 when she started dancing with the Scottish ballet Junior Associates and has performed in venues such as the Tramway the Tower and the Kings Theatre.
She has had leading roles and in 2013 joined The Glasgow youth Dance Company they performed in go dance annually in the Theatre Royal and the MacRobert centre.
In 2014 Daisy got the chance to be part of the common wealth dance festival a four day celebration of dance with people & companies from all over the commonwealth.
She is now studying musical Theatre and is involved in weekly dance classes and musical repertoire classes she is very focused and trains five days a week along with putting on regular performances.
Kerry is currently studying HNC - HND Musical Theatre and is a party coach for A+ Workshop
She has taken part in several MASTERCLASSES which included levels of singing – dancing to build on her personal & professional development.
Her Dance Experience includes: Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Tap, Commercial, Hip Hop, Cheerleading.
Kerry was also a Team Scotland Representative in the USAFF Dance World Championships USA
She has been involved in, Gymnastics, Figure Skating, Teaching Dance, Working with children and Children’s Party leader
